Outreach
We recently have established a day-long summer engineering exploration program for local high school students as part of a summer engineering camp hosted by the School of Engineering at the University of Kansas.
Dr. Kwon and Amin Ezazi (PhD student) were invited to Lawrence High School to give an on-site demonstration and lead a mentoring session (Oct 19, 2019). It was a part of the NSF-RET ECOWaTer program at the University of Kansas.
Dr.Kwon has been a faculty mentor in the NSF-RET ECOWaTer program at the University of Kansas since 2019. He advised science teachers from local high schools on experiments related to the field of surface and interface science.
